Appreciation Post
I wanted to take this opportunity to thank everyone who has helped me complete my journey of an associate degree at Kendall College. I am very grateful to all my instructors who have corrected me when needed, taught me not just the skill but also the confidence to work in the kitchen. Besides that, I will always be appreciative of how much Kendall College Trust (KCT) has helped me achieve my goals. A year ago, I was struggling to ensure if I would be able to continue my education. However, KCT not only helped me financially but also provided me with the hope of continuous growth. Ms. Deb Teall and Ms. Catherine have constantly encouraged me to do better as well as the rest of the KCT team members.
I came to Chicago in Fall 2018 and it will be two years since I have been here. I am truly blessed to have had this opportunity to learn, grow, and finally put my skills to practice at my upcoming internship in fall 2020. This has been a long-awaited journey and I am more than ready to embark on my experience at The BOKA restaurant. I will be expected to work the prep, Garde manger, as well as the line.
I am very grateful, and I wanted to say a warm Thank you for all the help Kendall College and KCT has provided in my journey.
